Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 6, 2026 - Last Updated: June 6, 2026
1. Introduction
QubitChain.io is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our Services, how we use that information, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two primary ways: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you use the Services.
Information you provide directly includes your name, corporate email address, company or fund name, and WhatsApp number if you submit a request for early access or institutional beta registration through the platform. We also collect any messages or communications you send us through email or contact forms.
Information collected automatically includes standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited on the platform, time and date of your visit, and time spent on pages. If we deploy analytics tools, we may also collect aggregated behavioural data about how visitors interact with our content, such as scroll depth and click events. We do not use advertising networks or sell your data to advertisers.
We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data including health information, financial account credentials, government identification numbers, or biometric data through our standard web platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes. We use contact details submitted through our early access and beta registration forms to communicate with you about your request, provide updates about QubitChain platform developments, and send you research content you have expressed interest in. We use automatically collected technical data to monitor and improve the performance, security, and user experience of the platform. We use aggregated, anonymised analytics data to understand how our Knowledge Hub content is being read and to inform our research publishing strategy. We may also use contact information to send periodic updates, research publications, and announcements, from which you may unsubscribe at any time.
We will never use your information to serve third-party advertising, sell it to data brokers, or share it with any party for their own independent marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies - small text files stored on your device - to enable core website functionality, remember your preferences, and collect anonymous usage analytics. We use only the categories of cookies strictly necessary for the website to function and, where applicable, analytics cookies to help us understand how the platform is used.
You can control cookie behaviour through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features of the platform. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking across third-party websites.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances: with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the website and platform (such as hosting providers and email delivery services), strictly under confidentiality agreements and only to the extent necessary to provide those services; with law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law or a valid legal process; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case we will notify you via a prominent notice on our website before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We link to third-party resources including NIST, Nature journal, GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube. Once you leave our platform via these links, this Privacy Policy no longer applies, and you are subject to the privacy practices of those third-party services.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information you have provided to us only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law. Contact and registration data submitted through our early access forms is retained for the duration of our beta programme and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@qubitchain.io.
7. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously, consistent with our commitment to cryptographic rigour across our platform and research. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of data transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights and freedoms, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These may include:
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- The right to request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- The right to object to or restrict certain processing of your data
- The right to data portability
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@qubitchain.io. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
